This is an opportunity to celebrate Pride 2021 by bringing together activists and philanthropists that support Latinx LGBTIQ communities across the United States, Mexico, Latin American, the Caribbean, and beyond. The roundtable conversations taking place on HIP’s platform can echo the efforts to support Pride events/celebrations of our partners in Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States.
Este mes de PRIDE queremos visibilizar las prioridades de la agenda de los movimientos LGBTIQ+ creando dos mesas redondas donde donatarias y activistas a través de EUA, México, Latinoamérica y el Caribe logren una conversación con el objetivo de contribuir a la conciencia de otros donantes y actores de la sociedad para aumentar la visibilización de las problemáticas que enfrenta la comunidad así como promover la inversión filantrópica en la agenda de los movimientos que promueven los derechos humanos y la no violencia hacía la comunidad LGBTIQ+.

Identify the most important adaptations and initiatives philanthropy has engaged in to respond to the challenges LGBTIQ activists are facing. Identify opportunities of philanthropic collaboration to strengthen the queer movement through the support of broader social movements such as the feminist movement.
