This brief examines Latino and LGBTQ coalitions by quantitatively mapping their advocacy success rate over the past five years. It also looks closely at the partnership between the LGBTQ rights organization, MassEquality, and the Latino-led community-organizing agency, Chelsea Collaborative, that proved to be essential in the passage of the Massachusetts Trangsgender Equal Rights Bill in November 2011.
